Ann Batchelor Hursey, director of the School Alliance for Richard Hugo House. Angela Dy, coach for the 2004 Youth Speaks slam team from Seattle. Christopher Jarmick, president of PEN-Washington, the local chapter of the international writing organization, board member of the Washington Poets Association, hosts the Lottie Motts poetry series Columbia City, and has been the Wordsworth poetry curator for the Seattle City Council since February of 2003. Paul Nelson, co-founder of the Spoken Word Lab in Auburn. Paul organizes and runs the Annual Allen Ginsberg Memorial Open Mic Poetry Marathon and the annual Super Bowl of Poetry (on Super Bowl Sundays) in Auburn. Sacrificial poetThe sacrificial poet (who warms up the audience and the judges) was M. Anne Sweet, the 2003 Bart Baxter champion. The 2004 Youth Speaks Slam Team provided a half-time performance.
